Network Rail - Case Study
Delivered a 40% saving on cost and 70% reduction in administration
Network Rail own, operate and develop Britain’s railway infrastructure; 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations.
Problem
Previously Network Rail was with a different Software Escrow supplier but was unhappy with the services they were receiving. When they began their search for a new provider, they had a few parameters in mind, this included; a fully managed Escrow Agreement, more flexibility and a reduction in their costs and administration.
Solution
Network Rail had several individual agreements in place previously. Due to this, SES set up a Master Services Agreement, consolidating their Escrow protection. This enables the Escrow protection to be flexible, whilst significantly reducing cost and administration.
Outcome
Network Rail have now moved their entire Escrow Portfolio to SES. With SES delivering a 40% saving on cost and 70% reduction in administration for Network Rail.
